How do the Diamond Pigs bots work?
Our bots are designed based on a swing trading methodology and not designed as "day trades" bots. In this method, the bots will be looking for an ongoing trend that confirms an expected future "bullish move" in order to take a long (buy) position for each coin.
A "sell" order will be triggered either when the coin falls under a certain price level (also called a "stop-sell" order), confirming that the expected upward trend has not occurred or when the coin price has risen to its optimal price level to take profit and sell the coin. Our SYNAPSE bots do not directly take external events into account. However...significant external events, are usually reflected in market price movements and will be considered by the bots as part of the overall trend. All bots are programmed based on 2h or 4h time frames.
The Duroc strategy monitors about 50 coins including a range of coins with different market cap sizes and different roles in the Crypto eco-system. Pennywell monitors about 40 green coins with a relatively higher market cap. The Hereford Bitcoin-only strategy monitors 8 different Bitcoin bots.
