What is Play Mode?

What is Play Mode? Do I need to have an account to try the Play Mode?

Play Mode is a way for users to practice and explore the Diamond Pigs platform without using real money or taking real risks. It allows you to try things out and learn how everything works before committing to actual investments or trades.
Key Features of Play Mode:
  1. Virtual Money: In Play Mode, you can select a virtual balance (fake money) to experiment with. This way, you can make trades or investments without worrying about losing real money.
  2. Real Experience: Even though you’re using virtual funds, the data, prices, and strategies in Play Mode reflect the real market. This gives you a realistic experience of how the platform works.
  3. Try Before You Commit: You can test strategies or features to see how they work before switching to real money.
To access our Play Mode you will need to complete a registration here:  Diamond Pigs - Register
After you play around and get a taste of the platform you can continue with the onboarding process and connecting your exchange wallet.

Is the data in Play Mode real?

Yes, all the data in Play Mode reflects the real market. This gives you a realistic experience of how the platform works. You can try changing the strategies, the investment amount and period to see the real data of the strategies’ performance and what your returns would have been.

How do I exit Play Mode? How do I know I’m no longer in Play Mode?

Warning
Once you connect your exchange wallet using your API key, you’ll be prompted to select a strategy and activate portfolio management. By completing this step, your onboarding is finalized and your account will exit Play Mode.

When you complete the onboarding, the bots will start trading for real, accessing your wallet and applying the strategy you selected (they will convert the coins you already have in the wallet to the ones included in the selected Diamond Pigs strategy this process is called balancing and until it is completed you will see your status as: ACTIVE balancing).

Do I have access to Play Mode after I finish the onboarding?

Play Mode will still be available for you to try out the different strategies even after you have connected your real wallet and applied a strategy.
